Position Summary: We seek an exceptional candidate for a Health Finance Specialist position for a potential programme on SRH and HIV in Zimbabwe. The candidate will provide content knowledge, technical assistance, consultation, and support for the development and execution of costing and modelling assignments. This is a full-time position to be based in Harare, Zimbabwe.

Key Responsibilities: • Provide costing and modelling expertise/technical assistance to the programme, including designing cost collection strategies as part of routine monitoring and/or operations research. • Use various quantitative and qualitative techniques to perform costing and modelling tasks. • Provide technical guidance on health finance issues to improve service access, delivery, and quality. • Provide analytical and evaluative techniques to identify, consider, and resolve programme issues or problems. • Participate in and/or prepares necessary technical and programme-related reports, including presentations and white papers. • Guide and support research, data collection, policy formulation, training, and capacity building efforts in support of project activities and deliverables.

Qualifications: • Advanced degree. MA or PhD preferred. • 5+ years of experience in health economics, public health, policy formulation, or other field related to the programme. • HIV or SRH programme costing, modelling, or cost-effectiveness analysis experience. • Deep understanding of the health system and health markets in Zimbabwe. • Demonstrated problem solving, analytic, financial, and evaluative skills. • Attention to detail and ability to effectively and efficiently perform multiple tasks and balance competing priorities often within a required timeframe. • Excellent written and spoken English is a must. • Zimbabwean nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.
