Team leader - Resilience



Job Description

The Team Leader – Resilience provides leadership, vision, strategic guidance and management oversight toward the realization of key activities and targets of the resilience project, including ensuring a quick start-up of the project.S/he will lead a detailed resilience program development and strategy, ensure effective program coordination and technical support, M&E, accountability and learning, ensure quality assurance and sound financial management of the program. S/he collaborates closely with all stakeholders, especially the government and ensures compliance with donor and CRS’ requirements. S/he fosters a strong relationship with all local partners and promotes team spirit and accountability within the project team.

Job Requirements
Advanced degree in Agricultural
Economics, Agriculture, Agribusiness or a related field from a recognized university.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience at senior level, managing agricultural livelihoods projects valued at least US$2 million in the last 10 years.
Demonstrated expertise in rural microfinance, extension and advisory services and
climate resilient approaches for small holder farmers.
Prior experience in managing at least one consortium.
Proven project management and technical report writing skills.
Demonstrated ability to mobilize and lead teams.
Demonstrated ability to work in partnership with local communities and NGOs as appropriate.
Ability to represent CRS at high level coordination meetings with donors, local government, the UN and other international NGOs.
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office Packages and other appropriate software
