Job Summary
ZNNP+ would like to engage the services of a Monitoring & Evaluation Officer. The purpose of the position is to facilitate effective and efficient implementation of programmes through regular provision of strategic information to staff, management and other stakeholders. The position reports to the Executive Director
The purpose of the position is to coordinate the development and operationalization of an organizational M and E system for effective programme implementation, monitoring, evaluation and learning.
Key responsibilities
Facilitating establishment and maintenance of M&E system; Facilitating development and operationalisation of ZNNP+ M&E plan; Performance tracking; Data collection, validation, analysis and report writing; Facilitating program and strategic reviews; Establishment and maintenance of a computerized database; Conducting programme reviews and facilitating external evaluations and research; Capacity building of staff and partners on M&E; Identification, documentation and dissemination of Best Practices; Participating in proposal writing; Design of log frames for proposed projects; Representing ZNNP+ at relevant programme forum; Any other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualification and experience
A first degree in Public Health, Statistics, Demography or any other relevant Social Science; A Post Graduate qualification with emphasis on research, M&E will be an added advantage; Minimum of 5 years’ experience in M&E and Results Based Management preferably working in HIV related programming approaches. Experience implementing Global Fund programmes an asset; Highly computer literate, including skills in MS Access, Office and statistical packages (SPSS, STATA, N-VIVO); Experience working on Global Fund grants will be an added advantage; Ability to work with minimum supervision and to meet deadlines; Excellent communication and presentation skills; Clean class 4 driver’s licence
