The Company is well positioned to fortify its position as a leading, dynamic and customer focused organisation by embarking on a range of exciting business development opportunities. We have been exclusively retained by the Board of Directors to assist with the recruitment and selection of a Chief Executive whose brief is to provide strategic leadership and direction to the Company. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors the Chief Executive will lead a highly dedicated team of technical experts so that the Company achieves the desired organisational growth and revenue objectives.

Key Job Functions:
To provide strategic, proactive and effective leadership for the Company’s operations.
To develop, review and recommend for Board approval the Company’s strategies and action plans that guide the effective delivery of our client’s products and services.
To establish an efficient and timely performance measurement and reporting system to inform the Board and other stakeholders of the Company’s performance with respect to its strategies and action plans.
Manage specific operational improvement projects on an ongoing basis relying on strong operationally
focused teams and Executives but getting involved as necessary to resolve important issues and provide direction to staff.
Develop and maintain healthy relationships with key stakeholders locally, regionally and internationally.
Ensure that key positions in the organisation are staffed with the calibre of staff who are motivated to meet
ongoing business challenges and create an environment conducive to effective team work.
Ensure the development and acceptance of challenging but realistic objectives and plans by immediate subordinates and help them to achieve desired results.
To establish world class systems to improve corporate governance standards and best practice in all functions.

Requirements of the Job:
The successful candidate for this Executive position should meet the following criteria:
Must be a holder of a business related degree plus a post graduate qualification such as MBA or MBL.
At least 15 years Executive Management experience in substantial organisations in the Commercial sector preferably at Managing Director level.
Must have a proven track record of successfully leading large organisations.
Demonstrable ability to direct, integrate and coordinate across all operational functions as well as the
ability to network with different stakeholders.
Capacity to set, achieve and maintain high professional service delivery standards.
An ability to creatively build a high performance organisation and effective team work.
Must be technically and commercially astute and should be energised by challenge and achievement.
Our client is prepared to negotiate a highly competitive remuneration package in order to attract the calibre of Executive required for this critical role.
