Position Summary: We seek an exceptional candidate for a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist position for a potential programme on SRH and HIV in Zimbabwe. The M&E Specialist will harmonise and support capacity building around agreed processes for the timely collection, management, analysis, and reporting of valid and reliable data that meet the government and donor reporting requirements. This is a full-time position to be based in Harare, Zimbabwe.

Key Responsibilities: • Harmonise M&E across project partners and government and coordinate roll out of M&E plan. • Build the capacity of partners to collect, analyse, use, and report community-level data up to district and national levels. Facilitate the development/refinement and use of M&E tools and building consensus on indicators to report on progress in providing quality and beneficial services. • Provide technical support for the use of M&E data and information.

Qualifications: • Degree in health, implementation or evaluation, public health, or other directly related discipline. • At least 5 years’ demonstrated experience working with large and multidisciplinary teams. • At least 5 years’ experience working with/for international donors, such as DFID, USAID, or other donors. • Professional level of knowledge and expertise in developing and using various monitoring software, research methods, research management, and M&E. • Proficiency in using MS Office and SPSS / SAS. • Experience working with national M&E systems in Zimbabwe preferred. • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills. • Experience working with professional technical staff and sub-grantees for M&E needs. • Excellent written and spoken English is a must. • Zimbabwean nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.
