Job Summary
To support the set-up of effective Income Generating Project for the Organisation including business development, planning and implementation
Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct general assessment of the IGPs and advice the organisation’s Senior leadership on the current status of IGPs highlighting the specifics in
- - The effective or potentially viable IGPs in the portfolio
- - The ineffective or potentially not worthwhile IGPs in the Portfolio
Recommending to the JJA Senior leadership a course of action depending on the outcomes of general assessment
Supporting the process of selection of profitable product lines in the selected IGPs
Establish Results Based Performance Systems for IGPs
Conducting business planning and support to business development
Setting operational business structure and systems
Identifying potential partners , business ventures as well as Public-Private Partnerships
Marketing of the organization’s brands as well as products generated by the IGPs
Ensuring quality control of production lines and business ventures
Advising on processes, procedures and business activities in order to minimize compliance risk
Reporting on detailed financial and business performance of the IGPs
Performing any other duties assigned by the Executive Director
Qualifications
MBA preffered with a first degree in Business
Experience
At least 5 years in business development and deep familiarity with computer software packages
