Job Summary

Key Perfomance Areas
Coordinates all Human Resources perfomances at the station
Advices on human resources strategies ,policies and practices thatb support the corporate strategy
Develops manpowerpolicies and plans to ensure the number of people with the right skills and competences are available to enable the station to achieve its business objectives
Implements human resources policies and conditions of service
Implement and processes all associated adminstrative controls for staff salary payment , loans management , staff benefits and remuneration related issues
Implements health and safety welfare policies and best practices including adherence to other forms of legislation aimed at safeguarding the interest of the station and its employees
Delivers perfomance management programs that drive a high performance culture
Directs and manage the recruitment and selection process and train line managers in interviewing and assesment proceedures
Implements and monitors effectiveness of trainning programs
Mentors direct reports and provides coaching to help them reach their potential
Produces reports on key metrics including remuneration and benefits , absenteesim and turnover
Consolidate the company's annual manpower budget
Ensures the effective implementation of the training policy
Ensures a harmonious industrial relations climate is mantained

Requirements
Qualifications and Experience

A relevent Degree in Human Reources(BSc Sociology Degree, B Com Human Resource Management)
A professional qualification such as a Diploma in Labour Economics, HR Management(IPMZ), Training Diploma or equivalent
10 years hands on experience in human resources management and/or Labour Relations , 5 years of which should be at senior level
Membership of organized professional institution
MBA or other relevant Masters Degree is an added advantage

A thorough understanding of various labour legislations and labour labour relations issues

Strong analytical skills
Superior interpersonal , coaching, communication ,negotiation and consultative skills at all levels
Ability to engage with and win the respect of elders to succesfully influence them on key change initiatives
A demonstrated track record in developing and implementing strategic business and HR objectives
Computer literacy ,proficient in Microsoft Office Suit among others
