Resort Hotel based in Kariba area. 5 star experience catering for International/Regional and local Guests
The hotel is situated on the banks of Lake Kariba and boasts of a true African experience for a discerning customer being part of a regional group operating in the Tourism Sector. You are expected to contribute immensely to the success of the hotel. Consideration would be given to those applicants who left the hotel/safari/tourism industry some time back for various reasons but are today keen to re-enter this sector.

SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION
The Manager’s role is to manage the daily operations of the resort, ensuring all the staff understand and complete their daily duties whilst maintaining a flexible and enjoyable working environment and, above all, ensuring all guests receive “an authentic African experience”.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily, weekly and monthly task scheduling
Maintaining and updating of Standard Operating Procedures
Maintaining staff duty rotas and leave schedules
Maintaining and growing relationships with other stakeholders in the area
Ensuring policies and procedures are be adhered to at all times 
Draw up a projects lists with time lines in accordance with budgets
Daily, weekly and monthly management reports are submitted timeously
Ensure the resort works towards the company’s values and mission
Ensure discipline within the resort is maintained at all times
Maintenance and protection of company assets 
Staff recruitment
Staff development and training
Any other duties that management delegates to you
