Marketing & Communications Officer

The Association is inviting application; from suitably qualified, mature and substantially experienced persons for appointment to the above challenging position which has arisen in the organization. The incumbent will be based at Head Office Harare and reporting to Marketing and Sales Manager

Responsibilities
• Contributes to the development of the association’s marketing and communication objectives and strategies.
• Liaises with Advertising Agencies .
• Prepares and implements marketing, business development, sales, public relations objectives, plans and strategies.
• Co-ordinates periodic customer satisfaction surveys/ market research and collates received data.
• Organises exhibition stands and attends to visitors at the exhibition stand
• Co-ordinates the production of all promotional and communication material, i.e. in-house, magazine, annual report, brochures, pamphlets and newsletters.
• Distributes corporate literature and maintains the distribution list.
• Publishes adverts, news releases and features articles to all media.
• Organizes all corporate events and facility visits.
• Manages and updates website of the organization
• Prepares periodic departmental reports
• Establishes strategic media alliances for the organization

Requirements:
• Degree in Marketing or Business Studies or equivalent University degree
• IMM or CIM postgraduate Diploma.
• At least 3 years’ experience in Marketing and Communication
• Must be innovative and possess excellent communication and collaborative skills at all levels
Demonstrate proven ability to write and present compelling and persuasive business proposals
