Occupational State Registered Nurse - Vacancy
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the above mentioned vacant position that has arisen at Samrec Vermiculite Mine, Based at Shawa Mine, Buhera, the position will report to the EHSQ. HR Manager and must have the following attributes:
- State registered general nurse
- SHARTCO/ OSHEMAC certificate
- Completed forensic exam with MCAZ
- Computer literacy- Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Management systems ISO 18001
- A minimum of 10 years experience in mining/ heavy industry
- High levels of professionalism and integrity
- Good sense of initiative, flexibility, reliability and willingness to accept responsibility
Duties and Responsibilities
Day to day running of the clinic, treatment of injuries and other general illnesses.
Ensuring high standards of organizational hygiene.
Maintenance and implementation of medical surveillance programme.
Liaising with NSSA and other responsible authorities on health issues.
Ensuring that all health legal requirements are adhered to.
Advising management on health issues and statistics
Conducting wellness programmes and health assessments
