Job Summary
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the following positions within Lancet Clinical
Laboratories (Pvt) Ltd Zimbabwe at the Harare Laboratory: Laboratory Scientist (3)

Key Responsibilities

  • Analysis of laboratory samples in order to provide accurate and reliable results for relevant stakeholders.
  • Assists the HOD with overseeing and monitoring equipment maintenance, asset management, procurement of goods and monitoring utilization of resources to ensure optimisation of stock levels.
  • Records, verifies test results to ensure integrity of test results database on laboratory information system.
  • Performs investigation into and resolution of customer complaints to ensure a positive image of the organization by clients and patients and to promote the services of Lancet Clinical Laboratories.
  • Ensures a safe working environment in accordance with relevant legislation and all safety protocols
  • Ensures the implementation of service levels and quality standards in accordance with standard operating procedures and service level agreements.


RequirementsQualification and Experience:


  • Degree or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science or Technology
  • Valid Practicing Certificate (Medical Laboratories and Clinical Scientist Council of Zimbabwe)
  • At least two (2) years work experience
  • Ability to handle work- related pressure
  • Attention to detail
  • Computer Literacy
