Corporate Communications Officer (Webmaster)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the following post that has arisen within the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA).
CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER (WEBMASTER) -1 POST-LEGAL AND CORPORATE SERVICES DIVISION
Responsibilities:
v  Design the website and intranet in accordance with the Authority’s Corporate Communications Strategy.
v  Designs modification components and modules and any other appropriate electronic resources as required.
v  Installs updates on the website and intranet.
v  Uploads images and videos; posts and monitors content on the website, intranet, and social media such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube
v  Maintain an inventory of advertisements.
v  Monitor and analyse website, intranet and social media usage.
v  Posts content and status updates on social media.
v  Responds to client enquiries and comments on all social media platforms daily.
v  Captures pictures and videos during events, functions and exhibitions.
v  Edits images for use in corporate publication, electronic platforms and social media.
v  Prints, frames and captions photographs.
v  Edits packages and distributes DVD footages (images and videos) of events to all ZIMRA stations.
v  Maintain responsive design by staying up to date on the web’s latest technologies and make sure the site and its products are always mobile-friendly and multi-platform ready.
v  Conducting any other duties as may be assigned by the Chief Corporate Communications Officer.

Qualifications and Experience:

v   A degree in Website Development and Management/Web Design & Development/ Information Technology/Publishing/Graphic Design or equivalent.
v  Masters’ degree in Business Administration or social sciences would be an added advantage.
v  At least two (2) years’ experience in a sub-editing, graphic design and general desktop publishing environment.
v  Experience in working with various design software (Freehand, CorelDraw, Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat professional).
v  Experience in technical writing, proof reading, edit/sub-editing setting, colour coordination, photographic manipulation, page layout and design.
v  Knowledge of SAP is a definite advantage.
v  Clean class 4 driver’s license a prerequisite.
