Key Job Function Entails

Being a trusted business advisor to our clients, offering legally sound, constructive and relevant advice.
Providing support to our other Deloitte service lines.
Participating in presentations to the public and in developing and delivering content for the Deloitte School of Tax.
Wining new work and expanding the Deloitte profile in the market.
Managing subordinates. workflows and professional development.
Foster a continued sound working relationship with ZIMRA.
Contributing to bulletins, periodicals, newsletters, and press releases.
Participate in administrative functions within Deloitte and the Tax Service line.

Requirements:
The successful candidate for this position should meet the following criteria:
In possession of a relevant degree in accounting, tax or law.
Attained a Masters Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Finance, Tax, Business Administration) and/or an appropriate professional qualification (e.g. CA, ACCA, CIMA).
Over 10 years experience in the tax field part of which should have been acquired in a Revenue Authority (preferably ZIMRA).
Have a sound theoretical knowledge of all tax legislation in Zimbabwe with any area of specialization being an added advantage.
Have a sound knowledge of international tax law applicable to Zimbabwe including knowledge of Double Taxation Agreements and their interpretation.
Have a sound working knowledge of international transfer pricing guidelines.
Have a reasonable understanding of other laws and regulations that impact on business (ZIA, Indigenisation, Exchange Control, Companies Act etc).
Be able to deliver quality work under pressure, within budget and on time.
Be able to provide sound advice and solutions to our clients.
Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Have excellent interpersonal and management skills.
Be able to participate constructively in conflict resolution.
