Job Description
Ensure timely sectoral analysis; input, support and collaboration to the Situational Analysis with consistent integration of sex and age data
Carry-out its periodic updates for effective evidence-based project planning; development & mgmt
Promote effective knowledge mgmt through drafting/finalising key Pediatrics HIV/AIDS sectoral program documents
Provide solid technical recommendationson major program directions and introduction of new pediatrics HIV program innovations to accelerate/improve delivery of Pediatrics HIV services
Formulate, implement, monitor sectoral workplans and activities ensuring alignment with the defined project strategies and approaches
Conduct project delivery, evaluation and reporting efficiently
Ensure the preparation of annual Pediatrics HIV/AIDS status reports
Promote the quality of rights-based HIV/AIDS projects and programmes, especially those that increase equality with a life-cycle and right based approach
Promote the organisation goals of UNICEF through advocacy, policy dialogue and active engagement in effective communication, networking and participation
Coordinates with Operations and Supply staff on Pediatrics HIV/AIDS related supply and non-supply assistance activities
Certifies disbursements of funds, monitors and submits financial status reports to mgmt
Interact with government and other partners, NGOs, UN and bilateral agencies in the different stages of Pediatrics HIV/AIDS program
Provide technical support and guidance on appropriate technical, financial and institutional capacity building measures to achieve Pediatrics HIV/AIDS programme goals

Education Level Degree
Qualifications Advanced university degree in Public Health / Public Health Admin / PHC / Pediatrics AIDS / Medicine
Software Ms Office / SAP
Equipment PC

Knowledge Of UN or international development organisations, national government or the private sector
Skills To Monitor gender disparities and programme interventions that reduce disparities
Ability To Work in emergency environments
Personality Self Motivated / Focused / Organised / Results Oriented
