This post will be tenable for 3 years in the first instance with a possibility of renewal.University of Zimbabwe Publications (UZP) is the University's academic imprint which has established an international reputation for the publication of high-quality academic books and journals.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing the University's academic publishing operations, ensuring the highest possible quality in content and production and will advise the University on all matters relating to publishing.
This is a senior post requiring a graduate from a reputable institution and relevant at experience in academic/scholarly publishing. Applicants should be experienced in the business and Financial aspects of publishing with a knowledge of electronic publishing, marketing and able to supervise editorial and production processes.

Applicants must submit seven copies of applications, IDs and CVs, giving full particulars including full name, place and date of birth and seven copies of academic and professional qualifications for each set of application. Applicants must give information on experience, present salary, and date of availability, telephone number, names and addresses of three referees.
