Employee oversees skilled maintenance and repair work within the painting trade and is
responsible for supervision of all paint shop personnel. Work requires initiative and judgement
Duties to include:
Supervising a team, include planning, scheduling, organizing and directing work, training and personnel
Teaches and enforces safety regulation
Monitors jobs to insure quality and compliance with job standards
Estimates cost of various job
Order and purchases tools, equipment and supplies
Maintains records of jobs performed, departmental charge codes and hours worked by
employee
Insures proper equipment and supplies are available in the stockroom to complete a
variety of job
Key Skills :
Specialized knowledge to analyze and solve complex problem
Concentrated effort and high degree of skill required to effect
cost savings and control large expenditure
Ability to manage a team
Key Qualifications :
Minimum of 5 years experience within a similar position
